Just changed my mind about the 'lost cat' flyer staple after seeing the same one for 8 months
It was faded and torn, but someone kept updating the phone number with a pen every few weeks. Anyone else notice a poster that just won't quit?

That kind of stubborn hope is pretty humbling. Makes my own dedication to finding the TV remote look pretty weak in comparison. Guess some bonds just don't quit.

Ugh, that's so sad but also kind of amazing dedication. There's a missing dog poster on a stop sign near my old apartment that's been there for at least three years. The plastic sleeve is completely yellow and cracked, and the photo is just a sun-bleached blob now. I saw the owner out there once, just taping a fresh piece of paper over the whole thing without even taking the old one down. It makes my heart hurt a little every time I pass it.
