Just saw a flyer for a free meditation class at the laundromat
Somebody taped a note on the community board that said meditation is the only way to fix burnout. I get the sentiment, but after 12 hours on my feet in the ER last night, I think a $6 coffee and a 20 minute nap did more for me than sitting still and breathing ever could. Anyone else think these self-help bulletin boards miss the mark for people working blue collar jobs?

Feel that, a nap and some caffeine honestly do way more good after a shift like that.

Coffee is my go-to too, but I found that a quick walk outside before the nap works even better for me. @maryadams it clears my head and makes the rest actually stick. Worth a try if you ever want to switch it up a little.
