Rant: Found a free couch on a bulletin board, hauled it home, then realized the real catch

Saw a flyer at the laundromat on 5th street for a free leather couch, looked clean in the photo. Drove 20 minutes to pick it up, wrestled it into my truck, got it home. Took me 2 hours to notice the whole frame was held together with duct tape and prayers. The flyer just said 'moving, must go' and I didn't look underneath. Anyone else get burned by a bulletin board listing that hid the damage?

Oh man, duct tape and prayers is a solid way to put it though. Idk, maybe it's not that big of a deal if you just throw a blanket over it or something? I mean, free is free, right?
