Saw two flyers for the same lost cat on a board in Springfield, one with a $50 reward and one with a $200 reward. Called the $50 number.
I was grabbing coffee last week and stopped to look at the community board. Two different flyers for a missing orange tabby named 'Marmalade' were pinned right next to each other. One was a simple photocopy with a blurry picture, offering $50. The other was a nice color print with a clear photo and a $200 reward. The phone numbers were different. I figured the $50 one was probably the real owner, maybe an older person or someone tight on cash, and the fancy one could be a scam or someone trying to cut in. I called the $50 number. It was an older lady, really worried. I hadn't seen the cat, but we talked for a minute and she sounded genuine. Has anyone else seen something like this on a board, where the same thing is posted twice with totally different details? Makes you wonder about the story.

That "two different flyers" thing really shows how people's situations can be so different, right?
