Spotted a flyer for a lost pet parrot at the library last Tuesday
It had a photo of a bright green bird named Mango, last seen near the oak tree on Maple Street. The owner wrote 'He knows how to say 'pretty bird' and loves grapes.' Has anyone in the community ever had a poster actually help them find a lost pet?

Posters can work but the location is key. Saw a lost cat poster at the actual grocery store where it went missing. Someone recognized it from their apartment complex. The library is a good start, but flyers right on Maple Street would probably help more. People walking their dogs there might spot Mango in a tree.

What specific spots on Maple Street would you hit first, @jade47? Like, are we talking about taping them to the light poles right by the big oak tree, or maybe on those community bulletin boards at the bus stop? I'd also staple a few to the fence near the park entrance where everyone walks by.
