That bulletin board at the laundromat taught me something new about my neighborhood
I used to just walk right past the corkboard at Suds & Duds on 5th Street, didn't even glance at it. But last Tuesday while waiting for my dryer cycle I actually stopped and read the whole thing. Found a flyer for a free weekly community garden meetup that I never would have known about otherwise. Now I check that board every time I do laundry and I've found two other local events I joined. Has anyone else found something useful on a random bulletin board they normally ignore?

Found a flyer for a free weekly community garden meetup" - that's actually a sneaky hack for finding stuff that's too small or niche to make it onto facebook or nextdoor. I found a couch and a half-decent coffee table off a laundromat board once.

Oh wow, that laundromat board is genius! Did you just happen to spot it while doing laundry or do you make rounds checking those boards on purpose?
