The community board outside the library had a section for 'lost skills' and I can't stop thinking about it

Stopped by the public library on Main Street to drop off some returns and noticed they'd set up this corkboard near the entrance just for people posting stuff they want to learn or teach. One index card said 'Can anyone show me how to sew a button? I'll bring cookies.' Another one was for someone wanting to learn how to change a car tire. There was even a handwritten note offering to teach basic bird calls for free. It got me wondering, when did we stop putting those kinds of little asks up on boards? Everything's an app now. But seeing it in person felt different, like people actually wanted to meet up and trade knowledge face to face. Has anyone else seen those older style boards at community centers or churches turning into something like this? Or is my local library just weird?.
