Vent: lost flyer box at the laundromat made me rethink community boards entirely

The laundromat on 5th and Main had this neat corkboard for neighborhood stuff. Last Tuesday I pinned a lost cat poster with my number, and by Friday the whole board was replaced with a QR code kiosk. No one told us, and the guy at the counter said it's been 'modernizing' since January. Has anyone else seen their local bulletin board get swapped for something digital without warning?
