My lasagna collapsed into soup, but the garlic bread survived

Last Sunday I spent two hours building a beautiful lasagna with fresh pasta sheets and three cheeses. It came out of the oven looking perfect, then fell apart into a saucy mess when I tried to slice it. Turns out I forgot to let it rest for 20 minutes, and my layers were too wet from the sauce. The sad part is I ate it anyway with a spoon, and it actually tasted fine. But the garlic bread I made in the same oven came out golden and crispy, which felt like a tiny victory. Does anyone else end up eating their failed dishes with a ladle and calling it dinner?

Honestly that garlic bread probably saved the whole evening, tbh.
