Pro tip: my microwave has a sensor reheat button and I just found out what it does after 8 months
I always hit the same 3 buttons to reheat leftovers and last Tuesday I finally read the little sticker inside the door. Turns out the sensor reheat thing actually weighs the steam coming off the food and picks its own time, so my rice stopped turning into a brick. I tried it on a plate of leftover lasagna from my mom's place in Dayton and it came out perfect, no cold middle. I feel kind of dumb since the sticker was right there the whole time. Has anyone else ignored a button on their microwave for months and then felt like a genius when they finally tried it?
