Had a customer convinced pork chops come from the leg

At the farmers market last week, a guy was adamant that pork chops are from the leg. I calmly pointed out they're from the loin, which sparked a chat about different cuts. How do you deal with these mix-ups without sounding condescending?

Yeah, my neighbor swore ribs came from the shoulder until I showed her a diagram.

This makes me wonder if he was mixing up pork with chicken. We call chicken leg meat dark meat, but pork doesn't work that way at all. Do you think people just assume all animals are cut the same?
