Rotten deer hit me with a smell that almost made me quit last Tuesday

Had a buck come in that was dead way longer than the guy said, hit the gut cavity wrong and the gas sprayed me straight in the face - anyone else ever walk home smelling like that for three days?

Walked straight into the same situation last season. That gas cloud is like getting pepper sprayed by something dead for a week. I ended up washing my clothes three times and still caught a whiff of it every time I moved my head. The worst part was my dog wouldn't come near me for two days, kept looking at me like I was the deer.
