Serious question, I had to choose between a $1200 band saw and a $900 bandsaw for the shop.
I went with the cheaper one thinking I could make it work, but the blade drift is so bad I've wasted about 40 pounds of brisket flat in the last two weeks trying to get consistent slices, so has anyone found a solid fix for a model that just won't track right?

Check the wheel alignment and tension first.

Linda's totally right about checking the alignment and tension. It's such a basic step but it's easy to forget when you're frustrated. I've messed up projects before by skipping straight to the complicated fixes. Getting those basics right first saves so much time and headache. Solid advice from @linda_mason82 for keeping things simple.

Check the wheel alignment and tension" is the move here, that and a fresh blade can fix most drift issues.
