That time the walk-in cooler died on a Friday evening in July

Back in 2018, I was working at a shop outside Omaha and the walk-in quit around 5 PM on a Friday. I mean, the compressor just stopped dead, no warning at all. Had to pull everything out and pack it into a rented refrigerated truck we drove over from a friend's place. Took three of us till almost midnight to get all the primals and boxes moved over. Has anyone else had to emergency salvage a whole cooler load like that on short notice?

Oh man, that sounds like an absolute nightmare. I've never had to deal with a full walk-in dying like that, but I can only imagine the panic setting in when you realize all that product is at risk. Props to you and your team for pulling off that save, that's some serious dedication right there.
