Vent: The hype over fancy knife brands in shops makes no sense to me.

I've used the same basic Victorinox for years and it does the job just fine, no issues. Seeing guys drop big cash on designer blades feels like a waste when skill matters more. Am I crazy, or is this just for show?

Watched my buddy struggle with a super expensive knife that couldn't even cut through a tomato skin cleanly. Felt like all that cash just bought a fancy letter opener.
