Appreciation post: the butter robot edit I almost skipped turned into the best meme on my phone
Last Friday I was scrolling r/butterrobotmemes and saw a clip where the robot is looking at a fridge full of butter and says nothing for 9 seconds. I almost scrolled past it because there was no punchline, but I watched it 4 times in a row and it hit harder than any of the big dance edits. Everyone keeps sharing the same 3 dramatic remixes with music, but the quiet one with just the hum of the fridge made me think about my own job and why I do it. I saved it to my phone and showed it to my wife, who never laughs at these, and she actually went quiet.
