Just hit 1,000 upvotes on a butter robot meme and I swear something weird happened

I posted that 'me trying to figure out my 401k' edit last night and it blew up way faster than any of my other ones. Has anyone else noticed a weird jump in engagement after a random number like that?

Oh man that 401k one is such a relatable format, it usually does numbers. I had a similar thing happen with a meme about forgetting to take the trash out, it just randomly hit a nerve and got way more traction than my other posts. It's wild how the algorithm decides to push stuff sometimes.

@lily574 that forgetting trash thing is so specific but so real lol. Honestly I think the algorithm just likes chaos, it'll randomly boost something mundane while the stuff you actually put effort into gets like 12 views.
