My butter bot mug arrived with a chip in the handle, and now I can't stop making sad memes about it
Ordered a custom butter robot mug off Etsy for $24 back in March, it showed up last Tuesday and the handle had a chip right where you grip it. So I did what any normal person does, I took a photo of the bot looking disappointed in a tiny mug and posted it, and it got more likes than anything I've made in a year. Weird part is the chip kind of works, like the bot finally found out it was made just to pass butter and then dropped on a porch. I even printed a little speech bubble that says "so this is it, huh" and set it next to my toaster. Seller offered a refund but I kept it because honestly the broken handle fits the whole vibe better than a perfect one would. Now I want to make a whole series where the mug gets more beat up each week and the bot gets more aware of it. What would you guys do, ask for the replacement or keep riding the broken one for content?
