Showerthought: The butter robot meme and the choice between funny and deep

I was scrolling through butter robot memes and had to pick between one that was just a laugh about him passing butter and another that actually tried to tackle what existence means. I went with the deep one, and it got like five upvotes while the silly one blew up with hundreds. Has anyone else noticed this split in the community?

Ha, that's so painfully true! I've seen the same thing happen in so many subreddits where the serious stuff just gets buried by quick jokes. It's like the platform is built for short laughs and anything that takes more than two seconds to process gets scrolled right past.
