I rewatched the butter robot scene from 'Something Ricked This Way Comes' last night and timed it at exactly 84 seconds. Everyone talks about the line about existing to pass butter, but nobody mentions that he says 'I can't go back' right before Rick fixes him. That clip has been clipped, remixed, and turned into endless existential memes, but the original scene is short and brutal. Am I the only one who thinks the meme versions lose the real punch because they stretch the moment out too long?
