The drive-through speaker made me question my whole butter robot routine

Pulled up to the Wendy's in Scranton last Tuesday and ordered a baked potato with extra butter. The speaker crackled back, "Do you want that butter melted or on the side?" and I just froze for like 10 seconds. Here I am, a grown adult who posts about a tiny robot asking 'what is my purpose,' and I couldn't answer a simple butter question. It hit me that I've been slapping cold butter on everything my whole life without ever thinking about the melt factor. That little exchange got me to try melting it at home, and now my toast game is totally different. Has anyone else had a fast food interaction that made you rethink something dumb you do daily?
