Tried making a butter robot meme with actual stop-motion claymation
Spent 4 hours animating a tiny clay robot passing butter frame by frame, and it got less laughs than my usual lazy screenshot edit. What's the secret to making a simple meme hit harder than a polished one?

Wait, claymation takes way longer than 4 hours.

Oh man, that's the thing about memes, they're like fishing lures. You can spend all day carving a perfect wooden one and the fish totally ignore it, but then you toss in a half-chewed piece of plastic and they go nuts. I remember when my daughter spent like three hours on a meme about her cat, with layers and inside jokes, and I just posted that picture of our dog with his head stuck in a chip bag, and it blew up. It's honestly kind of a bummer because you put in the real effort and the lazy stuff wins every time. Maybe the internet just likes things that feel a little messy, you know?
