Visited that butter robot exhibit at Comic-Con and everyone missed the real point

I stood there for 20 minutes listening to people laugh about the robot asking for purpose, but nobody mentioned how the scene mirrors every dead-end job I've worked. Am I the only one who sees the butter robot as a critique of meaningless labor, not just a funny meme?

Saw a piece on Wired about the AI training setup for these things. It's pulling from millions of real conversations to mimic human banter. So yeah, it's funny but there's a ton of technical work underneath making that humor land.
