Caught a cabinet door pinching hazard before it was too late
I was installing some upper cabinets last week in a townhouse near Columbus and noticed the hinge was sitting a little crooked. Found out the screw holes were slightly off from the factory, which would have made the door bind and crack within a year. Has anyone else run into this issue with pre-drilled cabinets?

Did you have to redrill the holes or send the cabinet back?

Man, I gotta say I disagree completely on this one. If you ordered the wrong thing, that's on you for not measuring right in the first place (like, double checking before clicking buy). Sending it back for a simple hole alignment issue just seems wasteful when a drill can fix it in five minutes.

Went ahead and grabbed my drill before even reading the instructions properly, which honestly sums up most of my DIY projects. Ive definitely had pre-drilled cabinets where the holes were so off I gave up and just used wood filler to start fresh. Makes you wonder if the factory even measures things or just eyeballs it like I do. Did you end up fixing the crooked hinge or swapping out the whole cabinet?
