Cut some maple with a new blade and the edge came out fuzzy

I put a fresh 80-tooth crosscut blade on the saw for a big maple job, but the cuts looked rough and fuzzy, not clean. Turns out the blade was for plywood and melamine, not solid hardwoods. What blade do you guys use for maple to get a smooth edge right off the saw?

Plywood blades are fine, @andrew7 just had a bad setup.

Ever try cutting that stuff with a dull blade by mistake? Made a real mess in my shop last year.
