Just figured out why my drawer slides were binding up
Been fighting with soft close undermount slides for weeks on this kitchen job in Portland. Turns out the issue was I was cutting the drawer box sides 1/8 inch too wide each time. Took measuring 3 different slides from Blum to realize the spec sheet says 1/16 inch clearance minimum on each side. Has anyone else run into this or am I just the slow learner in the shop?

Man, I did the exact same thing on my first set of Blum slides. Cut the boxes to the exact inside dimensions because I figured tight is right. Spent a whole afternoon sanding down the sides after realizing they were binding up. Feels like a rite of passage for any cabinet guy honestly. At least you caught it before you installed them all, I had to pull three drawers apart before I got the hint. The spec sheet sits right next to my tape measure now.

And @butler.shane probably still has the sandpaper dust in his truck too, am I right?
