Just finished my 100th cabinet door and realized I've never used the same hinge twice
I was cleaning up the shop and counted all my leftover hardware bags from past jobs. Turns out every single client in my five years working out of my garage in Spokane has picked a different style, from Blum Clip Top to Salice to some no-name brand from the big box store. It feels weird to hit that number without any real repeat. Has anyone else had a run like this, or do you usually get people to pick from a small set you keep on hand?

No way, that's wild! I mean, I've had a few repeats but mostly it's the same deal, every job is some new hardware I've never touched before. Idk how people find all these different ones.

You said every job is new hardware, but that's the whole point. I've worked on the same model of industrial printer for three different clients this year. Companies buy in bulk and stick with what works. If you learn one common server model or CNC machine, you'll see it everywhere. It's not about finding different ones, it's about the same few models being the standard for whole industries.
