Just realized I was overthinking my drawer slide choice

I had a job for a kitchen in a small bungalow where the client wanted full extension slides but the budget was tight. I was stuck between the basic 100 lb rated ones from a big box store and the nicer 120 lb Accuride ones. I went with the Accuride 3832 slides, and the smooth action is a huge step up, even if they cost about 15 bucks more a pair. Anyone have a good source for them that doesn't break the bank?

Check out Woodworker Express for those slides. Honestly, they usually have the best price I've found. Tbh that extra cost is totally worth it for how much better they feel.

Totally agree about paying more for quality slides. I've bought the cheap ones before and they always feel rough or start sticking after a year. Good slides make opening a drawer feel solid and smooth every single time. It's one of those small things that makes a big difference in how a finished piece feels to use. Saving a few bucks just isn't worth the hassle.
