Just switched from pocket screws to rabbet and dado joints and it's night and day difference

I spent 20 minutes on a face frame with my Kreg jig last week and it still came out wobbly. Tried old school rabbet and dado on the next one in maybe 35 minutes and the thing is rock solid. Has anyone else found that the old joinery methods just hold up better for high use cabinets?

Back @butler.shane up on that, my uncle's cabinets from the 80s are still square and they were all done with dados. Rabbets and dados just lock together way tighter than screws ever will on a face frame.

Buddy of mine rebuilt his kitchen 4 years back with rabbets and dados and it's still dead straight.
