Overheard a customer at Menards say pocket screws are 'good enough for cheap cabinets'

I was grabbing some Blum hinges when this guy told his buddy he uses pocket screws for everything because 'customers can't see inside the box anyway'. Anyone else seen cabinets fall apart because of shortcuts like that?

Pocket screws aren't "good enough" for anything.
