Pro tip: I finally gave up on my old method for fitting inset doors after a job in Tacoma last month.
A client there had me redo a whole kitchen because my traditional scribe-and-shave technique left visible gaps in the humid summer air, so now I build a full mock-up frame in the shop first to check seasonal movement before any finish goes on the doors.
