PSA: don't waste $300 on that fancy edgebander attachment like I did
Bought a pricey add-on for my router table to do flush trim work on edgebanding. Took me 6 hours and three ruined panels to realize my old block plane and a steady hand worked way better. Anyone else get burned by a gimmick tool that looked good on YouTube?

Wait, did you try using a heat gun to soften the adhesive before trimming? That's what changed the game for me, made the plane glide through it like butter.

@jade47 My buddy used a heat gun once and melted his whole bumper.
