PSA: taper jig on a table saw burned 4 hours of my Tuesday, and I still don't trust it
Had to rip 14 maple rails for a face frame job in my shop off Delaney Street, and the taper jig wandered on the third pass and chewed one up. Spent 4 hours re-squaring, re-setting stops, and recutting, when the whole batch should have been 40 minutes. Anyone got a jig setup that actually holds a repeatable taper, or am I just chasing a ghost here?
