Apartment complex on 14th St made me change my whole drill setup
I was doing a retro install at a 6 story building near 14th St in Denver and the walls were all poured concrete. My standard hammer drill was taking forever, and the building manager came out and told me I needed a rotary hammer with a vacuum attachment, or he'd have to shut me down because of the dust. I went and picked one up that afternoon, and it cut my time per hole from about 4 minutes to under 30 seconds. Now I never leave home without it for multi unit work. Has anyone else run into a building that just flat out requires you to change your gear mid job?
