Contractor left a ladder in a tree, 3 months later it's still there

Last October I'm running a new drop behind a house in Maplewood and I look up, there's a 6 foot fiberglass ladder wedged about 12 feet up in a maple. The homeowner said the tree crew that trimmed branches in the spring just left it when they packed up. I climbed my own ladder, snagged it down, and carried it to the curb for them. Has anyone else ever run into gear that another trade just abandoned on the job? What's the strangest thing you've found stuck or left behind on a property?
