Demo job in Phoenix made me pick between two bucket trucks

Had to choose between a 40 foot aerial lift and the 32 foot with a narrow alley access. Took the smaller one, fit through the pinch point fine but took 3 extra trips to the pole. You guys ever gamble on equipment size like that or play it safe?
