Finally fixed that recurring signal drop on a 3 story house
Three different techs blamed the splitter, but I checked the ground block and found a loose connection that was arcing on humid days. Took 20 minutes with a torque wrench and the customer's modem has held a steady 900 Mbps for two weeks now. Anybody else see corrosion hiding behind a clean-looking fitting?

Three different techs and not one of them checked the ground block? That's wild. Torque wrench on coax, that's a new one for me. I've seen fittings look clean from the outside and be green and crusty inside, but arcing on humid days is a whole other level. Sounds like you saved that customer a real headache.
