Found out the actual tensile strength of standard RG6 coax from a spec sheet at the supply house

It's rated for 45 pounds of pull force, which explains why I've snapped so many lines on long attic runs. What's your go-to method for pulling cable over 50 feet?

Wow, you ever try pulling with a fish tape instead?

Ever try a wire pulling lubricant? It makes a huge difference on long runs, and @noah_palmer42 is right that a fish tape helps too. Just keep the pulls straight to avoid snags.
