Had a crazy Tuesday where three people brought in the same old Pentax K1000 with the exact same shutter squeak.

That shutter squeak is a super common issue, but it's usually the K1000's advance lever, not the shutter itself. The grease in the wind mechanism dries out over time. A basic service fixes it right up.

My K1000 sounds like a rusty door hinge. I guess it's just part of its charm now.
