Might get roasted but I took apart a Pentax 6x7 to clean the mirror box in 45 minutes flat

I pulled up a 2003 forum thread from some guy in Ohio who claimed the whole disassembly was just 8 screws and a clip. He was right, and now I'm wondering why every repair manual makes this sound like brain surgery. Has anyone else tried this or am I just lucky with my copy?
