Talked with an old timer about shutter timing and it shook my whole approach
Buddy of mine who fixed cameras in the 70s came by the bench last Tuesday and watched me adjust a leaf shutter. He said I was too focused on the numbers, that I should feel the snap through my fingers instead of chasing the caliper reading every time. It got me thinking, how many of you trust your hands over the test gear when a shutter feels off but measures in spec?
