That $35 JIS screwdriver set saved my Pentax K1000

I was about to strip a screw on the bottom plate of my K1000 last month using a regular Phillips head. Figured I'd test out a JIS set I saw recommended on a repair blog for $35 before I messed anything up. Fit perfectly on that tight screw near the rewind knob that always gives me trouble. Now I'm wondering how many other screws I've chewed up over the years just using the wrong driver. Anyone else made the switch and noticed a big difference on older Japanese metal bodies?

Right? I grabbed one of those JIS sets a few years ago and now I look at every Phillips head I own like it personally wronged me. All those poor little screws I massacred before I knew better... they deserve justice.
