Thought those eBay CLA services were a scam until mine came back perfect
Sent a beat up Nikon F2 to some guy in Ohio for $80 and got it back with shutter speeds dead on and the meter working for the first time in years. Has anyone else had good luck with the cheaper online repair shops or am I just lucky?

Got a beat up Canonet from a dude in Florida for $60. Light meter was dead and the shutter dragged. Came back perfect and even cleaned the viewfinder for free.

Wait, he cleaned the viewfinder for free? That's insane, most repair guys charge an arm and a leg for that.
