Vent: Saw a stack of vintage Polaroids at a flea market in Asheville, all with the same shutter fault.

The guy selling them said he just 'cleaned the rollers' and called it good, but every single one had that classic, telltale light leak pattern from a worn bellows. Anyone know a good source for those specific bellows material, or are we all just cutting up old ones?

Honestly, that drives me nuts. He knows exactly what the problem is but won't fix it right. Makes me wonder how many other sellers are doing the same thing, just wiping off dust and calling a camera 'serviced' when it's got major issues. Where do you even draw the line between a simple clean and a full repair?

Just another shortcut that ruins the real thing.

Ugh, tell me about it. Bought a "fully serviced" vintage lens last month that had fungus they just polished over. The focus was totally stiff, like they didn't even touch the gears. It's such a lazy way to run a business.
