Dropped $120 on a cheap sleeping pad and my back still hasn't forgiven me
Bought this no-name inflatable pad off Amazon for $120 back in June. First trip out to Lake Placid it lost half its air by 3 AM. Woke up on cold hard ground with a stiff back that lasted three days. Should have just spent the extra $80 on a Therm-a-Rest. Has anyone else had a bad experience with those off-brand pads?

$120 is not cheap for a sleeping pad, that's midrange territory. You got unlucky with a dud, that's on Amazon's QC not the concept of off-brands. My $40 Klymit knockoff has held air fine for two seasons now, wouldn't trade it for a Therm-a-Rest that costs triple.

Is two seasons really that impressive for a sleeping pad?
