Found a weird trick to keep my sleeping bag liner from bunching up

Last month on a trip to the Adirondacks, my old liner was sliding around inside my bag all night. It was driving me nuts. I ended up using four small binder clips from my pack's repair kit to clip the liner's corners to the inside of the sleeping bag. Sounds dumb, but it worked perfectly for three nights straight. No more waking up tangled. Has anyone else found a simple fix like this for gear that just won't behave?

My last trip to the White Mountains had the same problem, just a constant fight with the liner. Honestly, I spent half the night just trying to smooth it out. Your binder clip idea is actually genius, I'm totally trying that next time.

Ha, sounds like we've all been in that same midnight wrestling match with a sleeping bag liner! I'm convinced those things have a mind of their own, they just love to bunch up right when you're finally comfy. Honestly, I've been using binder clips for years and the only downside is remembering to take them off before you stuff the bag in the morning. Nothing like a frantic campsite search for a rogue clip that flew off somewhere.

Ugh, that sounds so familiar. I had a night like that in the Adirondacks where the liner just kept bunching up under my back no matter what I did. Woke up feeling like I'd been wrestling all night. Seriously, those binder clips are a total game changer for the corners.
