Met a guy who pitched his tent over a fire ant nest at a site in Asheville
Dude spent 20 minutes yelling at his tent for moving before we realized the ants were carrying it away. Has anyone else dealt with critters straight up stealing your gear?

Yeah that's wild. Idk maybe spray the tent perimeter with bug repellent next time.

Honestly though, maybe the real problem is the kind of tent material. Some of those cheap polyester ones basically act like a bug magnet at night because of how they hold heat and moisture.
