My Big Agnes tent zipper failed in a downpour on the Olympic Peninsula

I was three days into a solo trip on the Hoh River Trail when a storm hit. The main door zipper on my Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL2 completely jammed, trapping me inside a wet nylon bag. I had to cut a small slit in the mesh with my knife to get out and rig a tarp over the broken door. Anyone have a solid 2-person tent recommendation that can handle constant Pacific Northwest rain?

Mason209's "nightmare" is a bit much, it's just a broken zipper.

Ugh, that sounds like a nightmare. Honestly, I'd look at something from Hilleberg if you're out in that kind of weather a lot. Their tents are built like tanks, the zippers are super heavy duty. Tbh they're not light, but you won't be cutting your way out of one.
