My old way of packing a tent was a total mess
For years, I would just stuff my tent back into its sack like a sleeping bag, which always took forever and left it wrinkled. Then a guy at a campsite near Bend, Oregon showed me how to fold it loosely around the poles instead. I switched to that method about two summers ago, and now my setup time is cut in half. Anyone have a better trick for keeping the rainfly organized?

Oh man, I feel that. My old method was just a frantic shove-fest that left the tent looking like a sad, nylon pancake. I finally started clipping the rainfly to the tent body BEFORE I roll them up together, so it's all one unit. It's a total game changer for not losing it in the bottom of my pack.

Whoa, I always figured rolling them separate was the only way. You just changed my mind on that one.

That actually makes so much sense now.
