PSA: My old way of packing a cooler for a weekend trip was a total mess
I used to just throw in a bag of ice and hope for the best, but everything would be floating in water by day two. Last summer, after a soggy trip to the Pisgah National Forest, I switched to freezing water bottles and using a Coleman 52-quart cooler. The bottles keep things cold longer and you have cold water to drink as they melt. Has anyone else found a better method for keeping food dry and cold for three days?

Wait, you actually own a cooler that got SOGGY? How does that even happen? That sounds like a full on disaster. The whole point is to keep things dry and cold. My mind is blown.
